Denim is about as American as apple pie, but FRAME has taken it’s instantly classic chambray and expanded into a world of chic lifestyle apparel for both Her and Him

FRAME established itself as a go to for the denim obsessed in 2012. it’s founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson launched the line with the idea of a single pair of perfectly fitted jeans that was then catapulted into a company that touts itself as the fastest growing denim company in the United States.

FRAME also tends to share a similar style aesthetic with my styling sensibilities in that it uses muses like Jane Birkin, Bianca Jagger, and classically vintage Cher to inspire both it’s silhouettes each season as well as it’s over all mood and tone. Another key note is the lack of pieces that you will find locked into one season or another. Sure there are coats that won’t necessarily be on repeat wear in the dead of August heat, but at it’s core the line is about transitional operability and easy layering to take you from winter to spring with the utmost of ease.

Since it’s initial denim launch, FRAME now boasts women’s ready to wear as well as a full range for men. From t-shirts and tanks to dresses and leather jackets (not to mention the most amazing Handbag), FRAME is one of the few brands that can dress you from head to toe. And they are making it much easier to feed your need for FRAME with six freestanding retail locations, the latest being the home of the Apres Ski itself, Aspen.

Classic Single Front Blazer

There may not be a better blazer on the market than this one right here. Longer and more generous in the cut but still fitted and expertly well tailored. What’s good to note is that FRAME makes this blazer almost all the time. Whether it be velvet, washed cotton, or this fabulous tabby plaid, they have you covered when searching for the ultimate in the stolen from boys aesthetic.

Le Nouveau Straight Raw Big Cuff

If there is one jean I always encourage my clients to own it is the boyfriend jean. Often lighter in color, and more rigid than not, it is a effortlessly chic classic. The downside? More often than not, these styles contain not an ounce of stretch. But that’s where these babies come in, with a slight amount of elastic built in, you will never feel anything but comfortable.

Clean Collared Shirt

Another must have staple in my clients closets? The perfect white shirt (or shirts rather… I encourage multiples when it comes to these no brainer essentials) A classic button-down style shirt cut an a relaxed linen blend for easy-chic styling. With exaggerated wide cuffs and a modern mandarin-style collar, wear it on repeat with light-wash Denim or loose over swimwear and cut offs on that oh so necessary beachside long weekend.

Long Sleeved Striped Crew

There are very few things this boy loves more than a good striped tshirt and this one tops the list of ‘Oh my gawd I need that one’. With a scalloped hem, irregular stripe pattern and the perfect amount of stretch that allows the garment to move with you, but not stretch out to twice it’s original size, this is the perfect example of a seasonless wardrobe essential.

Jagger True Skinny

Now listen to me quick… they always say that God does not give with both hands and where I am concerned, apparently for me to have this margainly entertaining personality, it meant I had to be ‘blessed’ with thighs that could literally choke a bear. Therefore, me wearing a skinny jean seems not only heavily frowned upon, it seems down right impossible. But that is really the number one selling point to me when it come to FRAME. The stretch factor. They are one of the only brands getting it right with more elastic for fits that fall more closer to the body. This contains 2% of elastic, which is perfect for multi wears without the need to wash or dry clean so frequently.

Velvet Suit

The number one common misconception about FRAME is that they only make jeans. Well thank goodness I am here to dispel that rumor, because they also offer impeccable ready to wear like this velvet suit. Sold separately (another point that makes me smile) the jacket comes s-xl, while the pants are sized to normal jean scaling. And the even better part? Like their denim counterparts, these pieces also contain elastine so as to better fit to your specific body type.
